Senior Product Manager, Mobile
Recruiter Fit Breakdown & Candid Summary
This role is ideal for a former mobile engineer turned product manager who thrives in a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment where PMs influence through context rather than top-down mandat
Candidates must possess a strong technical background in mobile development (iOS, Android, or cross-platform) to earn the trust of Sentry's engineering-heavy culture.
This is not a traditional 'roadmap-dictating' PM role; those who prefer owning the full product lifecycle in a command-and-control structure will not be a good fit.
The position requires a high-agency individual capable of synthesizing complex market signals and developer feedback into actionable product improvements.
Role Responsibilities
- 1Synthesize user feedback, market trends, and product data into well-framed problems and strategic tradeoffs.
- 2Act as the primary voice of the developer, conducting continuous discovery and testing ideas before engineering commitment.
- 3Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and mobile team to improve the end-to-end mobile developer experience.
- 4Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Support, and Solutions to identify churn risks and growth opportunities.
- 5Define and track measurable objectives tied to customer value and business revenue.
