OpenAI is seeking a BIM Designer & Coordinator to support the Industrial Compute team in planning and delivering advanced AI infrastructure facilities.

Role Responsibilities
- 1Develop and maintain conceptual and schematic BIM models for large-scale industrial and MEP-intensive facilities.
- 2Create and maintain federated models used for design reviews, spatial coordination, constructability analysis, and clash detection.
- 3Coordinate equipment clearances, maintenance access, routing zones, shafts, risers, utility entrances, and major MEP pathways.
- 4Translate engineering sketches, basis-of-design documents, and equipment lists into coordinated BIM models.
- 5Maintain BIM standards including model organization, file naming conventions, worksets, shared coordinates, and view templates.
- 6Review consultant and contractor BIM deliverables for quality, coordination, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
