Forward Deployed Engineer
Recruiter Fit Breakdown & Candid Summary
This role is ideal for a versatile engineer who thrives on high-stakes, on-site problem solving and bridging the gap between complex data and operational utility needs.
Candidates must be comfortable with significant travel, ambiguity, and high-level stakeholder management alongside technical data engineering.
This is not a traditional desk-bound software role; it requires a 'get-it-done' mentality, ranging from coding to physical site visits.
Applicants should avoid this role if they prefer structured, predictable environments or lack the soft skills to navigate government utility bureaucracies.

- 4Collaborate with ML teams to tune models for demand and renewable generation forecasting.
- 5Manage customer relationships and project rollouts with utility leadership and government officials.
