Vanta is hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer for their Authoring Experience team to own architecture, public-facing APIs, and end-to-end product features.
This is a senior-level position requiring 8+ years of backend development experience, strong system design capabilities, and comfort working across the stack with React and Node.js.

Role Responsibilities
- 1Own the architecture and rollout strategy for critical platform services, from initial design through large-scale rollout and migration.
- 2Set the technical bar for how we design, publish, and maintain customer-facing APIs while owning things like security, reliability, and developer experienc
- 3Stitch together services across Vanta's platform to serve customer-facing use cases, designing clear service boundaries and partnering closely with data-pl
- 4Raise the written design bar by driving RFCs and decision records that make architectural decisions durable and shared across the team.
- 5Act as a force multiplier by mentoring engineers, expanding review capacity, and partnering with engineering management on team health and culture.
- 6Build with TypeScript and Node.js on the backend, contribute to customer-facing experiences in React, and use AI tools to accelerate development.
