Role Responsibilities
- 1Lead the migration of Vanta’s resource data model from a Mongo-centric solution to a schema-aware Postgres-backed solution while running both generations i
- 2Design for correctness under eventual consistency with idempotent session handling, conditional writes, and backpressure.
- 3Design and evolve Vanta's data ingestion and pipeline architecture for reliable, high-throughput processing of terabyte-scale data streams.
- 4Scale and evolve Vanta's Query API for production use with schema versioning, per-tenant isolation, and predictable latency.
- 5Set architectural direction for streaming infrastructure, caching layers, and persistent storage across the Foundations stack.
- 6Mentor senior engineers, raising the technical bar through design reviews, architectural guidance, and hands-on contributions.
