Role Responsibilities
- 1Lead the migration of Vanta's resource data model from a Mongo-centric solution to a schema-aware Postgres-backed solution while running both generations i
- 2Drive solutions across dependent teams and set architectural direction for streaming infrastructure, caching layers, and persistent storage.
- 3Design for correctness under eventual consistency with idempotent session handling, conditional writes, and backpressure mechanisms.
- 4Evolve Vanta's data ingestion and pipeline architecture for reliable, high-throughput processing of terabyte-scale data streams.
- 5Scale and productize the Query API with schema versioning, per-tenant isolation, and predictable latency under load.
- 6Mentor senior engineers, conduct design reviews, and champion engineering excellence in reliability and observability.
